    What is Your Path? Witch
About Me I am a mother of an old spirit in a 10 year old female body; a Witch, a Fiancee, a Graphic artist, freelance artist, and I love to Sing. I also love plants, I love our Earth. And, I love Spicy stuffs. The spicier, the better. I also love to cook -My second wand is a nice worn wooden spatula :) I live as a Solitaire, have attended a few circles - but have been solitaire for half my life.
Music If I were stuck on an Island, this is the only way I would PICK SPECIFIC music. Otherwise, give it to me. All of it A - Z I love it all, and appreciate it. But, in dire islandic circumstance, ..... I would pefer my keyboard, Mozart (music, not the corpse - If anything, don't leave me stranded without Mozart!), and a good Drum.
Movies Last Night. The best Movie Ever - Budget B, Full of subtleties....dry and exquisite humor - all about what folks would do as the world ended.
TV I DVR stuff. I am a geek. Luv Discovery Channel. How it's made and Medical Incredible. And Food Network, of course. Iron Chef! Those Guys can be worshiped as Gods, right? Cannot I call on Bobby Flay in my Coque au Vin rituals?? Isn't he the God of Flame Broiled?
Books I love, to this day the Tao of Pooh. Also, Anything (but first) Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins. He is a God of words. He weaves words in the most wonderful ways.
Dislikes I know everything has a reason, but I really dislike fakeness.

    And doth the wheel turn

    Tuesday, April 29, 2008, 12:01 AM [General]

I heard the frogs chirping thier night sound and knew - ah yes. Here we finally come to spring. I still waited, patient - until Mother Earth gave me the final signal - let's sow. I figured, 70 degree weather was a good sign.

Toil and toil I did. The NW rains slowly creeping in - - but never felt happier in that spring rain. Hapilly I sowed my seeds, dubbing each plot its name - happy and anxious to woo and love it into life. I sowed with love, I yanked rocks with care - so many, they acctually lined my path as I did so. And then, once complete - I saw my Heaven. The garden - ready to bear the fruit of what is to come, much like the soul and the Earth itself. It was the best feeling. The roks dug from each plot I did actually use to line the main path. I ,used - But, don't all the rocks dug from our path do so? Line our path to what we really seek - - oh, a paradise. Can't wait til the fairies come. Hope they like the tin foil. I could go on about how planting is so inspirational. Working with the soil is Healing at its Finest.

And then, Mother Earth Changed. The days cloudy, I mused that it was fit, as my new seedlings would need this nourishment. But Not 7 days later - SNOW. What?? One weekend, we were eating icecream, and following frogs in the grass. The next, Building a snowman. I feared for my tomatoes. I admit - stressed over the crop....

But as the wheel turns - so did the snow. Glad to say, all crops look not only happy - but so Green. The snow built up the water in the earth, and helped them come to life without the sometimes reckless fun of raindrops. The ground never froze, but instead, my garden got a blanket of Fluffy Moisturizer. Wow. I felt stress - but once I realized, as rocks lined the path - and reappeared under melted spring snow.....Hey, It's all good man. Its all good.

Like snow, fears can melt away. Like Fear -snow can come when we least expect. Unplanned, we may create a path as we work. Until we stand back, can we realize,.

And Already I have a post

    Tuesday, March 18, 2008, 01:34 AM [General]

Oh -  St. Patrick - What do you think of a Pagan whom chased "snakes" (pagans) out of Ireland? And everyone wearing green shamrocks and such....not even knowing what they are celebrating? St. Patrick using the shamrock to represent the trinity of Christian faith. What a Pagan. Using an Herb to get his point across.

And today, I enjoyed work with folks who donned green shiney shamrock stickers - - all for fun, though - we have  comittee determined to make happy the folks of the very Corporate place in which I earn a living,  but, being in such a PC environment, I find it amusing I was the only one whom preferred not to donn Pure Green, which heralds back to the days which Ireland was not a free country.

What do you think of these random acts of Hallmark Holidays? At this point, the average american (Not Pagan, Mind You!) cannot even fathom what they are celebrating; except an excuse to eat, drink and drink some more.

It is sad - sad sad.
