I heard the frogs chirping thier night sound and knew - ah yes. Here we finally come to spring. I still waited, patient - until Mother Earth gave me the final signal - let's sow. I figured, 70 degree weather was a good sign.
Toil and toil I did. The NW rains slowly creeping in - - but never felt happier in that spring rain. Hapilly I sowed my seeds, dubbing each plot its name - happy and anxious to woo and love it into life. I sowed with love, I yanked rocks with care - so many, they acctually lined my path as I did so. And then, once complete - I saw my Heaven. The garden - ready to bear the fruit of what is to come, much like the soul and the Earth itself. It was the best feeling. The roks dug from each plot I did actually use to line the main path. I ,used - But, don't all the rocks dug from our path do so? Line our path to what we really seek - - oh, a paradise. Can't wait til the fairies come. Hope they like the tin foil. I could go on about how planting is so inspirational. Working with the soil is Healing at its Finest.
And then, Mother Earth Changed. The days cloudy, I mused that it was fit, as my new seedlings would need this nourishment. But Not 7 days later - SNOW. What?? One weekend, we were eating icecream, and following frogs in the grass. The next, Building a snowman. I feared for my tomatoes. I admit - stressed over the crop....
But as the wheel turns - so did the snow. Glad to say, all crops look not only happy - but so Green. The snow built up the water in the earth, and helped them come to life without the sometimes reckless fun of raindrops. The ground never froze, but instead, my garden got a blanket of Fluffy Moisturizer. Wow. I felt stress - but once I realized, as rocks lined the path - and reappeared under melted spring snow.....Hey, It's all good man. Its all good.
Like snow, fears can melt away. Like Fear -snow can come when we least expect. Unplanned, we may create a path as we work. Until we stand back, can we realize,.
